Throughout its 100 year history Cal Poly has valued human diversity. In celebration of this value many sponsoring groups will host a variety of programs throughout our Centennial Celebration that demonstrate a collective commitment to and expression of diversity. The activities are as diverse as the departments and organizations supporting them. Activities range from intellectually stimulating dialogues to creative artistic expression. The calendar of events is designed to offer something for all. Diverse interests will be recognized and met through these rich opportunities to learn, express and reflect.

In addition to the calendar of events a number of councils and committees have been mobilized to implement administrative and policy recommendations related to diversity initiatives that surfaced during our Master Plan, Strategic Plan and WASC accreditation processes.

Represented in these efforts is a validation of Cal Poly's commitment to diversity and a message for the future as we celebrate our centennial and chart the course for our next hundred years.
